Long-distance and interstate moves are charged by the cubic metre, from $150 per cubic metre, not by the hour and not by the kilometre. We measure the volume of what you are moving, your furniture, your boxes, your whitegoods, and you pay for the space it takes on the truck.

Because trucks are already running between the Eyre Peninsula and other parts of the state, a backload, sharing space on a truck making the trip, can save you money if your dates are flexible. When you book we give you a delivery window rather than a promised date, and we tell you straight what to expect. We do not guarantee a delivery date.
If you want to pack and load everything yourself and just pay for the transport, that is fine, and it keeps the cost down. If you would rather not, our team packs the boxes, wraps the furniture, loads the truck, and unpacks at the other end. Most people land somewhere in the middle: we pack the fragile things, they do the rest.
Moving within a town or between nearby towns in the region is charged by the hour. A man with a van starts at $120 per hour. A house move with two movers and a truck starts at $130 per hour for a 3-tonne truck and goes up with the truck size, 4-tonne at $140, 6-tonne at $160, 8-tonne at $180, and 10-tonne at $199 per hour.
Every one of those rates includes two movers, the truck, the fuel and the equipment. There is no separate call-out fee and no fuel levy bolted on at the end.
Specialty items are priced differently because they need different gear. Pianos, pool tables, spas and bathtubs start at $350 per hour, which covers the boards, straps and crew needed to move them safely. Cleaning is quoted on the size and state of the property.

Yes. You do not have to book a full truck. If you are moving one heavy item, a fridge, a bed, a lounge, or just a few pieces within Eyre, we will bring the right-size van and team for the job so you are not paying for space you do not need. Tell us what you have and we will quote it that way.
